Residential. Youthfull. Cafees. Restaurants. Parks. Lakes. Historical buildings. Multicultural. Going Out.

During the late 1800’s, the urban population grew rapidly meaning that working class quarters shot up outside the inner city-ring. Nørrebro was one of these quarters. Also, during the 1960’s and 70’s a shortage in the danish laborforce meant a lot of migrant workers came to Copenhagen. And a lot of them settled in Nørrebro.

Today, Nørrebro is hip, youthfull and multicultural neighborhood. Go for a run around the Copehagen Lakes, have a great bistro dinner at Skt. Hans Torv, or explore a fantastic selection of middle-eastern and asian specialties from the many local merchant-shops.
